Iranian nation will never abandon national resolve to produce nuclear energy: Judiciary chief

The Iranian nation will never abandon its national resolve to produce nuclear energy, Judiciary chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said on Wednesday.
“If the western governments still hold their naïve dream of seeing Iran’s setback despite their display of understanding in nuclear talks in Turkey, they have to get rid of their dreams.”

He said that the nation will always support the lofty goals set by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Citing the massive turnout in the run-off Majlis election last Friday, he said that the national nuclear program is one of the demands of the nation.

The Judiciary chief criticized the European Union for issuing repetitive statement about Iranian nuclear program and said that US Secretary of State (Hillary Clinton) has made illogical statements in India contrary to the understanding at the nuclear talks in Turkey last month.

He said that the western governments are expected to take constructive steps for confidence-building, because, they have got to know that their threats, conspiracies, hostilities and sanctions in the past 30 years have only bolstered the resolve of the Iranian nation and they have failed in their anti-Iran approach.
