Iranian VP Due in Turkmenistan Saturday

Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri will leave Tehran for Ashgabat on Saturday.

He will pay a visit to the neighboring country to attend a special ceremony to mark the Central Asian state’s Independence Day.

Iran and Turkmenistan enjoy good political, economic and trade ties, especially in the fields of energy and transport.
