Iranian VP: Iran Ready to Share Scientific Know-How with Kyrgyzstan

Iran’s First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi underlined Tehran’s wide strides in different fields of science and technology, and voiced Iran’s readiness to transfer its scientific know-how and expertise to Kyrgyzstan and other Central Asian states.

Addressing a conference at Kyrgyzstan’s National University, Rahimi highlighted Iran’s technological breakthroughs in the field of nanotechnology, and said, “Iran believes that this scientific progress and achievement belongs to all the regional nations, and Kyrgyzstan and other Central Asian countries can make use of Iran’s achievements.”

He further added Iran as a country enjoying a rich history, culture and advanced sciences in the region is ready to expand bilateral ties with Kyrgyzstan in areas of education and scientific and cultural researches.

Rahimi noted that senior Iranian and Kyrgyz officials are much willing to take efficient actions to deepen and step up mutual cooperation in the above field.

Iran and Central Asia have in recent years accelerated their efforts to expand bilateral and regional cooperation in all the various fields.

Last October, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani voiced the Iranian lawmakers’ full support for expanding relations and cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, and said Tehran is prepared to assist Bishkek with economic and industrial development.

The speaker voiced pleasure in the two countries’ expanding cooperation in various sectors, and said, “Iran’s abundant possibilities and capabilities in the different industrial and technological fields have prepared a significant ground for the consolidation of the friendly relations between the two states.”

He further reiterated Iran’s readiness to aid Kyrgyzstan in advancing its economic and industrial development plans.
