Iraninan Commander: Four Enemy Targets, Threats to Iran Identified

A senior military official said that Iranian experts have identified four cultural and social areas of concentration in which enemies are trying to hit the country.

“We have monitored many cultural and social threats to Tehran and we have come up with four major threats and targets” through constant evaluations, Commander of the Tehran Corps of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) General Seyed Mohsen Kazzemeini said, addressing a gathering of Basij (volunteer) forces here in Tehran on Monday.

“The enemy is seeking to weaken faith and Islamic and Shiite values and beliefs,” Kazzemeini said, elaborating on enemy targets.

“We should combat this move through increasing and deepening our faith, religious knowledge and insight,” he added.

He cautioned that the enemy is seeking to promote the western lifestyle in the Iranian society, specially in Tehran, and called for the promotion of Islamic lifestyle in the society.

The commander also underscored that the entire Basij and the IRGC forces are needed to confront the four aforementioned areas of major enemy threats.
