Iran’s defensive might carries message of peace

ab360de614198c6b22d124ef4917ecab_LIran’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari has underlined that military and defensive advancement of Iran is not a threat at all for any country.

According to IRNA, talking about the recently conducted naval exercises Velayat 91 in southern waters of the Persian Gulf, Sayyari told reporters on Wednesday that this military capability would be at the service of peace and security in the region.
He lauded the navy’s missile system and the missiles’ preciseness in hitting targeting the targets and also its torpedoes during the drills.
The Iranian navy successfully tested cruise missiles Nasr, surface-to-air medium-range missiles Ra’d and different torpedoes equipped with strategic arms system, and also long-range Noor and Qader missiles.
Velayat 91 excercises were held from December 28, 2012 until January 2, 2013 with special code name of ‘Ya Hossein’ in eastern parts of the Straits of Hormuz, Sea of Oman and in parts of the Indian Ocean up to 18 degrees north.
