Iran's deputy FM emphasizes on support for Syria

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, has emphasized on Iran’s multilateral support for Syria.

According to IRIB World Service, citing ISNA, in a meeting with a number of reporters and editors in chief of highly circulated Egyptian papers, in Tehran on Sunday, Iran’s deputy foreign minister said following the victory of the popular revolution in Egypt, the expansion of the two states’ relations has covered its natural path.
He added that up to now appropriate cooperation in bilateral, regional, and international scenes has taken shape between Islamic Republic of Iran and Egypt.
Iran’s deputy foreign minister referred to Iran’s active role within the framework of the Egyptian President, Mohammad Morsi’s plan to solve the crisis in Syria. The senior Iranian official elaborated on Iran’s stand toward the Syrian crisis and emphasized on Islamic Republic of Iran’s multilateral support for Syria, as the steadfastness and Islamic resistance front in Lebanon and Palestine.
