Iran’s industrial products fair opens in Venezuela

The third exclusive exhibition of Iran’s trade and industrial products opened in Venezuela by Minister of Industries and Mines, Ali Akbar Mehrabiyan on Thursday.

Over 30 companies are showcasing their products in the four-day event.

Participants say reasonable prices, acceptable quality and modern technology are among characteristics of the Iranian products which satisfy their consumers.

At the sidelines of the exhibition, Venezuelan Trade Minister Richard Canan referred to the 11-year history of brotherly and effective relations between Tehran and Caracas, and said with cooperation of friendly countries including Iran, Venezuela is now moving towards progress and self-sufficiency.

Venezuelan Mining Minister Jose Khan also said Iran and Venezuela are two strategic partners calling for expansion of the two countries’ cooperation in all fields due to technical and scientific development of Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Minister of Industries and Mines said Tehran and Caracas would start new cooperation in the fields of industry, science and trade, adding Iran is to transfer technology of its products to Venezuela.

In this relation, the Minister presented a manual book and technology of construction of Iran-made tractor to his Venezuelan counterpart.
