On Thursday, more than 100 people gathered protesting the incident in front of a police department.

Sources maintained that the incident took place in the capital Riyadh on Wednesday, May 15; this incident is similar to a previous one in which a Tunisian young man Burned himself two years ago, that incident sparked the turmoil in Tunisia.

The Saudi greengrocer, Muhamed Ali Jabri al-Huraisi, passed away in the hospital to which he was rushed.

Reports say that he did that after police searched him finding no ID documents with him, and that his family refuses to receive his body from the hospital.

The greengrocer was among dozens who were stripped of their Saudi citizenship.

Two years later, 60-years-old Saudi man also set fire to himself in the city of Samtah in Saudi Arabia.
