Iran’s nanotechnology is unique in Middle East

Iran is a unique power in the Middle East in terms of nanotechnology and nano sciences by producing a total of 113 nano products in the country so far, director of nano science and technology policymaking department, Ali Mohammad Soltani said.

Soltani made the remarks at the 2nd Nanotechnology National Competition in Tehran on Sunday.

“A total of 63 Iranian companies are active in the field of material nano some of which produce materials at high volumes,” he added.

In the construction field, a total of 25 companies were also active in the field of nano that produce products for building construction.

In the field of hygiene and treatment, several companies were also active in manufacturing different nano medicines.
