Iran’s Navy makes rapid progress

Deputy Commander of Iran’s Navy announced on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s naval forces have made rapid progress and now rank in the single-digits compared to the navies of big powers.

According to IRIB WORLD Service, Rear Admiral Golamreza Khadem Bigham, in his address to the Navy forces, said today Iran’s Navy has its presence in the eastern parts of Indian Ocean and is planning to spread its influence in the Far East as well.
He said recently, the 28th unit of Iran’s naval fleet, accompanied by the kilo-class submarine “Yunus” docked at Mumbai port, India.
