Iran’s progress rooted in national might

The senior Iranian lawmaker, Seyed Mohammad Hassan Abu-Torabifard, has said that the progress of Islamic Republic of Iran is rooted in the independent political power and national might of the Islamic Iran.

In a televised interview with IRIB on Monday night, the senior Iranian legislator referred to Iran’s multilateral developments despite the West’s sanctions, while adding that currently the number of postgraduate university students in Iran is more than the overall number of students in the early years of the post-revolution era.
He noted that according to UN, Iran currently holds the 6th spot in regard to economic capacities in the world, while Iran’s mines have been valued at $5 trillion.
He added that at the moment, the annual production of cement in Iran stands at 75 million tons, while more than 97% of medicines are also produced domestically.
In further remarks, this MP reminded that we should make use of all of the sacred Islamic system’s capacities to support production.
