Iraq agrees Iran-Syria-Europe gas pipeline

Almayadeen network reports that Iraqi government has authorized the Iraqi Oil Minister to sign the agreement on Iran gas pipeline construction to Syria and Europe.
Earlier this year, in October Iran had started 225 Km of the 1500Km gas pipeline to Syria for estimated cost of $3bn. The Syrian pipeline project is supposed to continue toward Europe.

The pipeline will supply gas form Assaluyeh gas field in the Persian Gulf. The Iranian share of this gas field reserves is about 16 trillion cubic meters.
