Iraq and Lebanon’s Workers Stress Solidarity with Syria in Face of Terrorism

A delegation of Iraqi and Lebanese workers stressed on Saturday solidarity with Syria in the face of the terrorist attacks targeting its security and stability.

During a meeting with Head of the General Federation of Trade Unions, Mohammad Shaaban Azzouz, the delegation pointed out that the targeting of Syria aims at undermining its steadfastness and its national and patriotic stances in support of the Arab causes against the aggressive and colonial schemes.

Members of the delegation considered the Israeli attack on the Scientific Research Center in Jamraya in Damascus Countryside as “evidence on the impotence and bankruptcy of the terrorists and their supports who failed to undermine the Syrian people.”

Iraqi Head of the General Federation of Trade Unions, Qassem Hamad al-Hammoud, stressed that the goal of the visit is to express solidarity with the Syrian people and workers against the fierce attack which is targeting the unity, security and economy of Syria.

Member of the Lebanese General Federation of Trade Unions leadership, Ali Taher Yassin, stressed the solidarity of the Lebanese workers with Syria’s people, leadership and army against the conspiracy and the misleading media campaign targeting it to undermine its national and patriotic stances.
