Iraq arrests 8 bombers with 1,100 kilos of explosives

Iraqi security forces have arrested eight bombers with 1,100 kilograms of explosives in their possession in Baghdad, Press TV reports.

On Sunday, 14 people, including three police officers, were killed in attacks across the country.

Violence has increased in Iraq since December 2011 when an arrest warrant was issued for fugitive Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, who has been charged with running a death squad targeting Iraqi officials and Muslims population.
