Iraq demands clarifications from Doha over controversial conference

Iraq’s Foreign Ministry condemns Qatar for hosting a controversial meeting attended by members of the country’s dissolved Ba’ath party and some former officials wanted on terror charges. The controversy does not stop here, as Iraq’s Parliament Speaker – Salim al-Jubouri – made an unannounced visit to Qatar at the time when the conference was being held. Over a 100 MPs are now calling for his resignation.
