The Iraqi army backed by popular forces killed tens of Takfiri terrorists in heavy clashes in Western Anbar province.
At least 73 ISIL terrorists were killed in fierce clashes with Iraqi forces in al-Anbar.

On Monday, a military source said that at least 59 terrorists had been killed in heavy fighting between the Iraqi army and the ISIL Takfiri group in the same province.

“Heroes of the 8th Infantry Brigade of the Iraqi army, with support from the Iraqi Air Force (IAF), managed to kill 27 terrorists and injure 20 others in Albu-Juwairyi area near al-Habaniya site, located in Anbar province,” a statement issued by Iraq’s defense ministry said.

“Iraqi forces killed 3 terrorists and wounded 9 others, in addition to destroying a number of hideouts and vehicles belonging to the ISIL Takfiri group in Albu-Bali area,” the source added.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
