Iraqi popular forces continued their mop-up operations in the surrounding areas of Al-Ramadi city, and arrested a notorious commander of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Abu Abdel Rahman Fallouji was arrested by Iraq’s popular forces in the suburbs of Ramadi city.

Fallouji is notorious for beheading a large number of civilians in Iraq and Syria.

Earlier today, Iraqi air force launched air strikes against positions of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists in Anbar province, killing and injuring 62 of them.

The Iraqi air force launched air strikes against ISIL positions in al-Qaem city, Western Anbar, killing 43 terrorists, including senior commanders, and injuring 19 others.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
