Iraqi forces eliminate ISIL gathering near Hawija

The Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd Al-Sha’abi) carried out a special operation on Tuesday that targeted an Islamic State (ISIL) gathering point in the Makhoul Mountains of the Salaheddine Governorate.

According to Iraqi activists, the Popular Mobilization Units eliminated the entire Islamic State force southwest of Hawija.

This gathering point was used by the Islamic State terrorist organization to launch attacks against the Iraqi Armed Forces in the Makhoul Mountains.
