Iraqi forces offensive to liberate Badush district near Mosul

The Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) and the Iraqi Army has launched an operation to liberate Badush prison and Badush sub-district, located to the northwest of the embattled city of Mosul.

The PMU’s Brigade-26 and the Iraqi Army’s 9th Armored Division are leading the charge against the ISIS terrorist group.

Meanwhile, the PMU’s Media Team has announced on its social media that it has evacuated at least 400 displaced people from Badush.

To receive the displaced people, it has announced that it has opened three safety passages that can be used.
