Iraqi Former President Jalal Talebani due in Iran

Talebani, Leader Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and Iraqi Former President, will travel to Tehran today or tomorrow.

It is worth noting that in the past five years, Talebani has been practically excluded from the political scene as a result of a brain stroke.

The upcoming trip to Iran marks Talebani’s first ever visit to a foreign country over the past five years.

Jalal Talabani is an Iraqi Kurdish politician who served as the sixth President of Iraq from 2005 to 2014.
