Iraq’s Maliki: There are some trying to erupt a clash between security forces and demonstrators.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said Iraq is still targeted and intended not to be safe and there are some, who wants to erupt armed clashes between security forces and demonstrators through assaulting police.

Maliki said, during the ceremony hosted by the Interior Ministry on anniversary / 91 / of the founding of the Iraqi police: that the enemies of the country are trying to damage it by hitting the unity through sectarian slogans in order to create sedition strife that killed thousands of citizens before.

The Prime Minister warned the security forces to arrest any citizen without a warrant arrest saying he would not allow the arrest of any man or woman on behalf of his son, or brother, husband or brother, and that those who do will be subjected to legal accountability.

Maliki said “there is no journalist detainee in jails for expressing his opinion, or detained because he is a member of a political organization opposed to the political process.”
