The head of Defense Workgroup of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy commission says IRGC Naval Force has US warships’ maneuvers under control.
Speaking in the Second National Caspian Sea Conference in Amir Abad port city, Mazandaran Province, Esmail Kowsari provided comments on Islamic Republic of Iran’s role in Middle East and security. “We decide ourselves about our border limits,” he added. “In addition to border forces, IRGC units serve to protect the Caspian region,” he asserted.

Representative of Tehran in Parliament also believed that in past 15 years, US did not care for Iranians in Persian Gulf, saying that “IRGC submarines have under their control US warships maneuvers.”

Kowsari pointed to new achievements of Naval Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran as developing 300km missiles, which target specific points. “The world has been informed of our young scientists’ achievements in nuclear program and nanotechnology,” he asserted. “In the past, we had problems manufacturing RPG missiles,” he added.

Member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy commission believed that Iran should secure its serious presence in the Caspian Sea through long-term policy objectives.
