IRGC Official: israel Never Dares to Threaten Iran

Iran enjoys such a high level of military power and preparedness that Israel never dares to pose a danger to Tehran, a senior official of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said.
“The Islamic Revolution has had many achievements (while) the pillars of the arrogant powers are collapsing one after another,” Head of the IRGC Training Center Brigadier General Mostafa Rabiyee said, addressing a gathering in the Central city of Qom on Tuesday.

“The Islamic Republic has developed a deterrence power and the Zionist regime doesn’t dare to give a dirty look to Iran,” he stressed.

In relevant remarks in 2013, a senior Iranian Armed Forces commander underlined the country’s strengthened deterrence and defensive power against enemy threats, and said no one dares to make an aggression against Iran.

“We were concerned about enemy’s (possible) ground aggression and the variety of enemies some years ago after the US attack on Iraq, but today no one dares to make a ground assault (against the country) and no one would easily come to think of a military aggression against Iran,” Deputy Commander of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri said in Tehran.

“We bring whatever we have on to the scene (of the battlefield) for defending our country; our defensive power has further strengthened and Iran’s deterrent power against the enemies has grown on a daily basis,” he added.

Baqeri stressed that Iran today enjoys an excellent security and defensive status compared with the past.

Also in October 2012, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei described the Iranian Armed Forces’ full preparedness as a major deterrent to enemy attacks, and meantime stressed that the country would not step back in case of any foreign aggression.

“Because of their Islamic teachings, Iranian nation are not the men of aggression and invasion but they will not fall short of confronting any aggression,” Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing Iranian military units in Northeastern province of North Khorassan at the time.

The Leader lauded Iran’s high military preparedness, and stated, “The only reason the power mongers’ motivation for waging war has downgraded or getting weakened is the general readiness of Iranian nation and the defense readiness of the armed forces.”

The Leader said general readiness of Iranian nation, specially the youth, is today in the highest possible level compared to the past and the armed forces are more prepared and more powerful than the past.
