‘IRGC to unveil latest combat drone’

The Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ (IRGC) Aerospace Force, General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, has reported on the unveiling of Iran’s latest combat drone throughout the Sacred Defense Week , which starts as of September 22 and marks the anniversary of the break out of the former Iraqi regime’s imposed war on Islamic Iran.

According to IRIB World Service, citing Fars news agency, in a televised interview with Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), General Hajizadeh said that this state-of-the-art domestically made combat drone maintains bombs and missiles which have also been manufactured by Iran.
He reminded that West Asia is faced with insecurity; four major wars have broken out in Middle East; and Iran’s neighboring countries are grappling with insecurity. But, Iran is the region of stability and security.
He also reminded that the enemies don’t take any measures to transfer insecurity to Iran because they have realized the high potential of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps and Iran’s Armed Forces.
This senior IRGC commander underscored that IRGC has had major accomplishments, including the indigenization of all equipment in the Aerospace Force. In fact, currently Islamic Republic of Iran maintains the most diverse equipment in its Armed Forces; the majority of which are domestically produced.
