IRGC vows to firmly counter threats

A senior Iranian commander says the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is fully prepared to face any threats against Iran with absolute alertness.

The IRGC forces are completely prepared to vigilantly combat any threat against Iran’s territorial integrity, ideals and Islamic values, IRGC commander Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Jafari said on Monday.

He added that the IRGC shoulders the responsibility to protect the great achievements of Iran’s Islamic Revolution and establish security in the country, IRNA reported.

The Iranian commander stated that the acts of terror by terrorist groups in Iran’s northwestern areas proved the inefficiency of the doctrine of arrogant powers.

Jafari reiterated that Iranian youth are fully aware of the enemy’s conspiracies and will strongly resist them.
