IRI, Belarus call for expansion of ties, coop

Belarusian Ambassador to Tehran Victor Rybak conferred on Saturday with IRI’s Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar on expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries.

At the meeting, the Iranian Minister highlighted the high volume of trade exchange between the two countries and said the two sides’ high ranking officials are determined to fully broaden bilateral ties.

Referring to expansion of economic cooperation between a number of Iranian provinces and Belarus, he said Tehran is ready to expand all-out cooperation with Minsk.

The Belarusian Ambassador, for his part, briefed the Iranian Minister on the outcome of exchange of visits by the two sides’ officials in recent years.

Referring to the high potentials of both countries, he called for expansion of economic and commercial cooperation between the two states.
