IRI expects Austria to keep independent stance

IRI expects countries like Austria to continue to keep their independent stance and stand up to wrong conduct of bully superpowers, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told new Austrian Ambassador to Tehran Thomas M. Buchsbaum Monday.

He said in the past few decades the two countries have always had good relations, adding that the IRI is willing to broaden ties with the country.

IRI seeks ties with other countries based on friendship, interaction and mutual respect, the President added.

President Ahmadinejad noted that the world is on verge of dramatic developments, adding that an era where some countries look down to other countries is over and that all countries must share the global management.

The President berated the interventionist powers for ignoring sovereignty of other nations and called for collective measures to uphold human rights in the world.

President Ahmadinejad said that they must stop intervention in other countries internal affairs which accounted for prerequisite to promote human rights worldwide.
