ISIL Controls Raqa, Kills Tawheed’ Commander in Aleppo

A commander in Tawheed Brigade, which belongs to the Islamic Front and antagonizes ISIL, was killed by an explosion in Aleppo, according to Al-Manar information.Syria Militants

The explosion took place in the brigade’s headquarters in Daahrat Awad in Aleppo and left Hussein Taleb, his entourage and four other commanders.

ISIL has firmly controlled Raqa after days fierce clashes with Nusra Front which was forced to withdraw from Rmileh, its last strongholds northern Syria.

In Aleppo countryside, Islamic Front intensified its attacks against ISIL sites in the area, what foretells fierce battles between the two parties.

For its part, the Syrian army continued its campaign in Aleppo, controlling areas, eliminating terrorists and advancing on all fronts.

In this context, the Syrian Army controlled towns of Tal Alm and Huwejna and besieges Blat, eastern Aleppo.
