Panicked zionist Army sends thousands of reinforcements to borders of Gaza Strip and West Bank

The Israeli Army sent thousands of soldiers to the borders of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, fearing in the coming days of Palestinian protests exceeding the mass and intensity of the events of recent weeks, the military said.

The exacerbation of the security forces are awaiting the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem and the 70th anniversary of the Nakba, a Palestinian national catastrophe, scheduled for Monday, starting wanderings of hundreds of thousands of Arab refugees expelled by Israelis from their homes.

The official representative of the Israeli Defense Forces, Jonathan Konrichus, says that the reinforcements are made up of three infantry brigades: two of them will be deployed along the borders of the Gaza Strip, where the unrest has been going on since the end of March and one has been transferred to the West Bank, which has so far stayed away from the protests.

“The army is ready for what Hamas (the ruling movement in the Gaza Strip) plans, for various hostile actions on May 14, on the 15th, and during the coming week. We have deployed three (additional) infantry brigades, two in Gaza, one – in Judea and Samaria (the Israeli name for the West Bank).” said Konricus.

The army command took a rare step, releasing the subordinates from combat training so that they could concentrate entirely on countering the Palestinian unrest.

The Gaza Strip is of greatest concern to the military, where, according to their information, attempts are being made to break the border by crowds of local residents.

“This shows that the terrorist organization Hamas … is openly working to maximize the scale of the unrest,” the press release said.

On Tuesday, May 15, the Palestinians are planning the culmination of the “Great March of Return” – a series of thousands of protests that regularly develop into clashes with Israeli military forces on the borders of the Gaza Strip.
