One of the field commanders of the terrorist groups said on Sunday that his comrades operating in the Northern territories of Syria’s Aleppo province have pushed their ISIL rivals back from more strongholds near the border with Turkey.

Saleh al-Zein said that the ISIL left behind scored of the dead and wounded members after its concentration centers came under large-scale attacks of a coalition of militant groups along the road connecting al-Rai and the town of Azaz and the border-passage of Bab al-Salameh.

“The ISIL pulled the remaining pockets of its forces from the small town of Tal Sho’eir to evade more casualties,” al-Zein added.

Also on Friday, several terrorists of Faylaq al-Sultan Murad were killed in clashes with ISIL in Aleppo province.

Faylaq al-Sultan Murad, affiliated to the Free Syrian Army, confirmed that at least eight members of the group were killed in fierce clashes with the ISIL near the village of Tal Hossein.

A number of the ISIL terrorists were wounded in the clashes.
