ISIL Withdraws from Several Strategic Regions in Eastern Hama

 

The Syrian Army troops continued to hit ISIL’s defense lines in the Eastern direction of al-Salamiyah city and managed to drive terrorists out of four more key regions after inflicting major losses of them.

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in East of al-Salamiyah and retook full control over the regions of Salem 3, 4, 5 and 6.

ISIL suffered heavy casualties and its military hardware sustained major damage in the attack.

Relevant reports said on Monday that the army forces, supported by the country’s Air Force, stormed ISIL’s defense lines and managed to take back control over more territories, inflicting major losses on terrorists in Eastern Hama.

The army units engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL Southeast of Aqarib and drove terrorists out of Areas 3 and 45 along the oil pipeline.

In the meantime, the Syrian fighter jets pounded ISIL’s movements and defense liens in the village of Qalib al-Thowar and along the oil pipeline.

The army’s artillery units and aircraft targeted ISIL’s positions in the villages of Akash, Um Meel, al-Hardaneh, Abu Habilat, al-Arsouneh and Aqayrabat in al-Salamiyah region, destroying several positions of the terrorists.

Local sources said that the army units, supported by air force, clashed with ISIL East of the village of Bari al-Sharqi in al-Salamiyah region.
