ISIL’s Jordan pilot video made in West?

An American scholar says the production quality of an ISIL video showing a captured Jordanian air force “pilot” being burnt alive in a cage is comparable to the best that Western news media can produce.

“The recent meeting between US President Barack Obama and Jordan’s King Abdullah II following the apparent immolation of a Jordanian pilot at the hands of ISIL terrorists requires cautious scrutiny,” Professor James Henry Fetzer told Press TV on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Obama held a hastily arranged meeting with King Abdullah II in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC, after an ISIL video surfaced showing the Takfiri terrorists purportedly torching 26-year-old Moaz al-Kassasbeh to death.

“ISIL has released several ‘beheading’ videos in which there is a decided lack of blood or even concern on the part of the alleged victims,” Fetzer said.

“In this instance, however, the ‘pilot’ appears to be immolated in a cruel act, where the production values of the video (which runs close to 30 minutes) are comparable to the best that Western news media can provide — and very expensive!” he added.

The ISIL terrorists, who were initially trained by the CIA in Jordan in 2012 to destabilize the Syrian government, control parts of territory in Syria and Iraq. They are engaged in crimes against humanity in the areas under their control.

They have been carrying out horrific acts of violence such as public decapitations and crucifixions against all communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, and Christians.

“ISIL appears to be a fabrication of Sen. John McCain, which is sponsored by the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia,” Fetzer said, referring to the new chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

“The brutal death of this pilot will no doubt instill fear and apprehension into the American public to support more investment of US troops and resources in the Middle East,” he stated.

“ISIL is advised by two American generals and is receiving air-drops of food, weapons and ammunition from C-130 cargo plane,” he revealed.

“As long as the US continues its involvement in a region where we do not belong, there will be more atrocities, as Zionists continue to pursue their program for domination,” Fetzer concluded.

Documents released on Monday showed that US President Barack Obama had requested $8.8 billion to fund the fight against the ISIL terrorist group in his fiscal 2016 budget.

The funds are part of the White House’s $58 billion request to fight foreign wars, officially known as Overseas Contingency Operations.
