ISIS loses last link from Iraq border to Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor

ISIS has officially lost their last link from the Euphrates River to the Iraqi border after the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) seized an important town from the terrorist group.

The Syrian Democratic Forces were able to impose full control over the key town of Al-Baghouz, Saturday, forcing the Islamic State terrorists to retreat away from the Euphrates River.

With ISIS expelled, the Euphrates River is finally safe to use in the Deir Ezzor Governorate for the first time since the start of this long and brutal war.

ISIS will now attempt to maintain their positions along the Iraqi border; however, with the SDF quickly advancing to the town of Hajjin, it is unlikely that the terrorist group will be able to hold this area.
