ISIS nearly eliminated on eastern bank of Euphrates as Syrian Army liberates new village

ISIS last pocket along the eastern bank of the Euphrates River is nearly finished, as the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue to advance into the terrorist group’s heartland.

Making matters worse for the terrorist group, the Syrian Arab Army has taken control of another village along the eastern bank of the Euphrates, forcing the remaining Islamic State combatants in the area to squeeze into a small area.

Led by the the 4th Mechanized Division and 5th Legion, the Syrian Arab Army announced the complete liberation of Tabiyah Jazeerah, which is located south of the recently captured town of Khasham and northeast of the former ISIS stronghold of Mohassan.

With this latest advance, the Syrian Arab Army has increased the size of their front-lines with the Syrian Democratic Forces along the Euphrates.
