Iranian forces exercised confronting enemies’ psychological war and media propaganda campaign in the first stage of the Army’s air defense wargames which started in Iran’s Northwestern regions Sunday morning.

Spokesman of the drills Shahroukh Shahram said that today’s tactical wargames were aimed at responding to the enemies’ psychological war in a move to thwart the negative impacts of the recent propaganda campaign launched by the regional media.

He added that a subsidiary air defense base was established in the wargames region this morning and the exercises entered the operational phase after supplying and transferring equipments and human resources.

During the exercise, Iranian air defense units assessed their psychological war plans for informing the residents of the region about the activities of friendly and hostile forces.
