Islamic Jihad Leader Rejects Israeli Media Claim about IRGC’s Presence

A prominent leader of the Palestinian resistance movement Islamic Jihad strongly dismissed the news reports by some Israeli media about the presence of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) experts in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Vala news website citing some Palestinian sources had claimed that “IRGC’s experts are present in the Gaza Strip in a bid to help the Palestinian resistance movements (Hamas and Islamic Jihad) develop and manufacture long-range missiles”.

Speaking to the Arabi Press news website, Nafez Azam said that the rumors spread by “the Zionists” about the presence of IRGC experts in the Gaza Strip is a type of provocation against the Palestinians and the Resistance.

He noted that all the people of the world know Israel is the cause of violence and siege of Gaza as well as illegal detention and apprehension of thousands of the Palestinians and they “will not believe Israel”.
