Islamic Movement in Nigeria is Not Established on Sectarianism- Analyst

Sheikh Yaqoub Yahaya Katsina made the statement on Sunday, 4th of August, 2016, at the 19th annual seminar organized by Youth Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.

This year’s event took place in Kano zone of the Movement with multitude of youths, brothers and sisters in attendance. It last for 3 days and was wrapped on Sunday, 4/9/2016.

Sheikh Yaqoub Yahaya was the guest speaker to deliver closing remarks. In part of his speeches, he explained that, Islamic Movement was not established on sectarianism. He added that, the Movement was established based on Islamic righteous leadership, knowledge, moral ethics and conceptual understanding.

He added that, Islamic Movement needs no constitutio. It does not need secretaryship or offices rather face registeration cancel. He said, it is a Movement laid upon Islamic voluntary services and redress of moral behaviours based on teachings of the Prophet’s Holy progeny.

Buttressing his statement, the cleric cited verses of the glorious Qur’an acknowledging that, followers of the Islamic Movement are guided by the revered leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky to always have preference for the hereafter over the World motives which is temporal.
We in the Islamic Movement are concerned with our eternal destination and therefore, call on attendants of the seminar to use every opportunity in this Worldly life to commit good deeds for internal life.

Sheikh Yaqoub Yahaya Katsina traced some traditions of the Holy Prophet(pbuh & hf) and enlightened the audience with a saying of the Apostle of Allah that, “Whoever (a servant that) hasten towards committing good deeds for earning a salvaged life in the hereafter, Allah (The Most High) will provide him with three qualities: righteous path, which will enable servant to discernment between the good and bad, contentment, which will enable servant to have praise and satisfaction to Almighty with the little he could be able to get in his struggling life and the last is rest of mind and conceptual skills
against every arising dilemma and upset in life.

At the end of his speech, he called on sisters of the Movement to strictly adhere to the Islamic teachings and mode of dressing as
guided by leader the Movement, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H).
