Islamic Republic of Iran stages aerial war game against the enemies of Islam

The initial stage of an aerial war game focusing on offensive tactics, entitled Defenders of the Skies of Velayat 3, started on Tuesday in northwest Iran, the deputy commander of the Air Force for air operations has announced.
In the initial stage of the war game, Air Force planes will transport military personnel and equipment from nine air bases of the Air Force to the northwest of the country, where the main stages of the aerial maneuver will take place, Brigadier General Mohammad Alavi said during a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday.

“During the ten-day war game, equipment, tactics, and ammunition of fighter jets will be tested in four stages,” he explained.

Iranian fighter jets, including the Sa’eqeh (thunderbolt), will carry out hundreds of sorties during the war game and will drop high-tonnage smart and precision-guided bombs on mock targets, he added.
