Islamic Republic of Iran to unveil 6 drugs for hard-to-treat diseases

Islamic Republic will soon unveil six types of medicine for hard to treat diseases, including cancer, according to presidential deputy in scientific and technological affairs.

The drugs, all developed and made by domestic experts, are proved a boon in economizing on national wealth as a large sum of money in foreign currency was previously paid annually on the drugs, according to Nasrin Soltankhah.

The six types of medicine have been produced under national project worth 150b rls (about $9m), she added.
