“Islamic Revolution Day” held in India’s Bangalore city today

81047120-5504559To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, “Islamic Revolution Day” held on Sunday in India’s Bangalore city, capital of the South Indian state of Karnataka.

Under the banner of Quds Freedom Movement in association with Anjuman-e-Imamia “Islamic Revolution Day” held at Shia Eidgah of the city which was attended by the large gathering along with the galaxies of dignitaries from the host city, Hyderabad, Alipur and surrounding areas.

Addressing the event Guest of Honour, Hujjat-ul-Islam, Mahdi Mahdvi Pour, representative of the Supreme Leader of IRI in India said: “The Islamic Revolution took place in Iran but it’s philosophy and spirit originated from the divine revolution of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and has influenced all the oppressed and freedom loving people of the world.ˈ

He also condemned the interference and arrogance of Israel and America towards the third world countries.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Taha Mateen, the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islaami, South India said that the Islamic Revolution of Iran, led by Imam Khomeini (RA), is a miraculous event which changed the entire world view of the Muslim countries and made the west to re-think it’s relationship with Muslims everywhere.

Tanveer Ahmed, editor of Karnataka Muslims Newspaper said the Islamic system of life is not only about prayers but is a complete way of life. Imam Khomeini revived this philosophy and freed Islam from seminaries and mosques and brought it into the political arena.

Dr Badami the General Secratary of Quds Freedom Movement explained the concept of Wilyath e Faqhi as the base for unity of all Muslim.

Meanwhile, Moulana Qaim Abbas, Moulana Adeel Raza and Moulana Azhar Raza also addressed the gathering and praised the leadership of Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei and the progress of revolution not only in science and technology but also in ethics and spirituality.

Islamic Teacher, Syeda Shadab Fatima, highlighting the uniqueness of the Islamic Revolution which differentiate it from other revolutions world had witnessed, said: “French, Chinese and Russian revolutions were based on materialism whereas the Islamic Revolution of Iran was spiritual”. This revolution was unique as it represented downtrodden and oppressed people of the world beyond borders, she added.
