Israel hits Gaza tonight

Israeli warplanes staged four attacks in Gaza overnight, injuring two Palestinian civilians, Palestinian officials said early Tuesday.

Three raids targeted the town of Khanyounis in the south of Gaza strip, wounding two Palestinian civilians – one of them seriously, a medical official and witnesses said.

The other raid occurred in a northern town and did not cause any casualties or damage.

The raid was one of the deadliest since Israel’s Dec. 2008-Jan. 2009 war on Gaza strip, the Zionist force killed 1,400 Palestinians, most of them were children and women.
