Israeli forces have raided several Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank, arresting at least nine people.

On Thursday, Israeli forces raided the Um al-Sharayet neighborhood of al-Bireh in the West Bank city of Ramallah and arrested a Palestinian.

Elsewhere, Israeli regime forces raided several homes in the city of Bethlehem and arrested four Palestinians including two brothers aged 19 and 21. Two people, including a 55-year-old, were caught in the nearby village of Beit Fajjar.

A 22-year-old Palestinian was also arrested in the Qalandia refugee camp, near Ramallah.

In addition, Israeli troops raided the Ras al-Ain neighborhood in the West Bank city of Nablus and arrested two people after raiding their homes.

Two more Palestinians were arrested in the villages of Huwwara and Burqa, located to the south and north of Nablus respectively.

Reports say Israeli forces caused extensive damage to Palestinian properties during the attacks.

The Israeli military regularly attacks different areas in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) as well as the occupied West Bank to arrest Palestinian activists and civilians mostly without any charges.

On November 17, Israeli forces attacked the village of Abu Dis in East al-Quds (Jerusalem), injuring 40 people including university students.

On November 15, four Palestinian children, aged five to nine, were handcuffed and detained by Israeli forces for more than an hour. The Israeli soldiers arrested the children during a protest rally in Kafr Qaddum, a village in the north of the occupied West Bank.

According to Palestinian rights groups, over a dozen Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the first half of 2013. Israeli troops also seized nearly 1,800 Palestinians, including women and children, during the same period.
