’Israeli’ Troops Infiltrate into Wazzani after Removing Spying Devices in Adaisseh

is_1“Israeli” troops crossed on Tuesday the barbed wire in al-Wazzani hills and deployed at the river’s eastern bank, the National News Agency reported.

The “Israeli” infantry unit was composed of 25 soldiers.

The Wazzani spring is a major source of the Hasbani river.

The incident comes a day after “Israeli” troops dismantled and removed two electronic devices from the Lebanese border town of Adaisseh, south of the Blue Line, as Lebanese soldiers and UNIFIL peacekeepers stood guard and monitored the process.
The Lebanese army said in a communique that the step happened “in the presence of army forces and UN peacekeepers.”
A two-piece object resembling a spying device was found planted under a tree in Adaisseh on Saturday.
The Lebanese Army issued a communique on Saturday saying that two computers with writing were found in the disputed area.

“At 10:45 am, a patrol belonging to the “Israeli” enemy and accompanied by two members of [UNIFIL’s] liaison apparatus dismantled and removed the two electronic devices that were placed in the border area of Adaisseh, south of the Blue Line,” a Lebanese army statement said.
However, al-Ahed correspondent mentioned that the “Israeli” enemy troops were operating inside Lebanese territory. Two reporters who were on the scene complained to al-Manar that the “Israeli” soldiers were stepping on Lebanese land and that Lebanese journalists were prohibited from approaching the location.
Earlier on Monday, the Lebanese army beefed up its deployment along the border of the southern town of Adaisseh.
According to the NNA , “Israeli”: soldiers crossed into the area at 10:15 a.m. and dismantled two spying devices they had planted on Saturday in al-Mahafer area in Adaisseh.
The NNA said that the soldiers were accompanied by a Humvee.

The object was placed in al-Mahafer neighborhood in the town, in an area that is 150 meters away from the barbed wires to the south of Misgav Am settlement near Adaisseh.

The Lebanese Army issued a communique on Saturday saying that two computers with Hebrew writing were found in the disputed area.
“The Indonesian patrol in the UNIFIL found a suspicious object in a disputed area near Adaisseh,” the statement detailed.
