Israel’s Peres, Netanyahu congratulate their loyal servant Sisi

Israel's Peres, Netanyahu congratulate Egypt's SisiTop officials of the Israeli regime have congratulated Egypt’s former military chief and president-elect Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in private phone calls, according to Sisi’s official social networking site.
According to Sisi’s Facebook page, Israeli President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called him on Friday insisting that the former army general, who led the military ouster of Egypt’s first freely-elected president Mohamed Morsi, had achieved a landslide victory in what they described as “free and fair” presidential elections.
They also stressed that the Israeli regime is ready to work closely with Egypt in various fields.
Peres and Netanyahu have expressed their belief that Egypt`s new president-elect will lead the country to prosperity and to its leading role in the world.
Al-Sisi, in turn, reportedly expressed his appreciation to the top Israeli leaders for their communication and keenness to congratulate him.
He also reaffirmed Egypt`s commitment to all its international treaties, especially the so-called “peace treaty” with the occupying regime, and stated that the current time is opportune to solve the Palestinian crisis and promote peace in the Middle East.
Less than 50 percent of Egyptians took part in the recent election with many groups and people boycotting the vote to protest Sisi’s involvement in toppling Morsi and the subsequent brutal crackdown on his supporter and Muslim Brotherhood organization.
Hundreds were killed and thousands arrested in the massive crackdown led by Sisi, with mass execution sentences handed down to hundreds of detainees by military-installed government prosecutors.
