Judaization of al-Quds not a less threat than Takfiri groups: cleric

Hujjat-ul-Islam Sheikh Ali Bahsoun, representative of Ayatollah Bashir Najafi in Lebanon, denounced the two-day closure of al-Quds Mosque by the Israeli forces warning ranking that a higher threat than that of the Takfiri groups, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He stressed importance of safeguarding al-Quds Mosque as the first Qibla (praying direction of Muslims) and said,” Efforts for Judaization of al-Quds and desecration of Ibrahimi shrine is a part of pre-planned Zionist plot which does not put a less danger than Takfiri thoughts.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Bahsoun stressed necessity of settling disagreements within the Islamic nation in line with confronting the Zionists same way that the victory of Mosul was achieved through unity of jurisprudent, government and the Iraqi nation.

He hailed the liberation of Mosul stressing that the achievement should be set as a role model for all nations in their confrontation with Takfiri thoughts.

He noted that at present a unified Islamic stance for supporting the sanctities is an important demand.

Representative of great Iraqi jurisprudent highlighted the resistance as a natural reaction against the crimes committed by Zionist forces and their occupation of al-Quds and the Palestinian lands.

He expressed regret over the silence of the Arab states and world organizations in regards to atrocities against Palestine, torture and inhumane behavior of the Zionists to Palestinian prisoners and urged for immediate action by Islamic and Arab world to voice their support for the sanctities in al-Quds.
