Kyrgyz political officials determined to promote ties with Iran: vice speaker

Kyrgyzstan Parliament Vice Speaker Bodosh Mamyrova said on Sunday that her country’s officials are determined to promote political, cultural, economic and parliamentary ties with Iran.

In a meeting with the Head of Majlis female deputies Tayyebeh Safaei, she added that negotiations between the two countries will help bolster bilateral ties in all fields.

She also noted that exchange of experience between the two countries’ parliaments will help activate women in social affairs.

Diplomatic shuttles of the officials especially female deputies will develop mutual understanding between the two sides, Mamyrova said.

Safaei, for her part, criticized the West for its instrumental attitude towards women and said that Islam advocates justice irrespective of gender considerations.

Mamyrova also talked with the Head of Iran-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Group Anoushirvan Mohseni.

Mohseni said exchange of delegations indicates firm determination of the officials for promotion of ties in all fields.
