Larijani deplores assassination of Palestinian minister as continuation of Israel’s savagery

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani strongly condemned the recent assassination of a Palestinian Authority minister in the occupied West Bank, describing it as another instance of Israel’s “savage behavior”.

On Wednesday, the Zionist regime’s soldiers shot and martyred Palestinian Authority’s Settlement Minister Ziad Abu Ein in the village of Turmusiya, near Ramallah.
“This big crime has been committed in the continuation of the savage approach used by the occupying and usurper regime against the oppressed Palestinian nation for many years,” Larijani said in a message to his Palestinian counterpart on Tuesday.
“The news on the martyrdom of the Palestinian settlement minister during the Zionist regime’s attacks on Ramallah in the West Bank caused my deep regret and sorrow,” the Iranian parliament speaker added.
The Palestinian minister died shortly after being hit and shoved by Israeli soldiers during a protest on Wednesday in the occupied West Bank.
Abu Ein was rushed by ambulance from the scene in Turmusiya village, but died en route to the nearby Ramallah hospital.
