Latest map update of southeast Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies were able to expel ISIS terrorists from Albukamal after a successful operation this weekend.

What began as an operation to secure the Albukamal countryside quickly shifted to an offensive to take the city after the Syrian Arab Army sent a large convoy of reinforcements from the provincial capital to this area.

Within hours of launching the attack, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies were able to secure three quarters of Albukamal, leaving only the eastern suburbs of the left under the control of ISIS.

The eastern suburbs of Albukamal would be liberated by the Syrian Arab Army and their allies on Saturday after forcing the remaining 150 terrorists to flee along the Euphrates River.
