Churkin: saboteur members who are supported by zionist in Syrian opposition seek Chaos in Syria

Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin underlined that there are saboteur members in the Syrian opposition abroad seek chaos in Syria, saying “we encourage the Syrian leadership to accelerate carrying out reforms in the country.”

In a statement to Lebanese al-Nahar Newspaper released Saturday, Churkin renewed his country’s rejection of the US-backed EU draft resolution against Syria, clarifying that the supposed context of the draft is unacceptable.

He denied reports about the reason of Russia’s rejection of a resolution against Syria attributing it to fears of losing its influence in the region.
