Leader condoles Departure of an Instructor of Ethics form the Mortal World

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei has condoled the passing away of Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Azizollah Khoshvaqt.
According to the leader’s office, following the passing away of Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Azizollah Khoshvaqt, the leader described his departure from the mortal world as a sorrowful calamity for the late cleric’s relatives and a great loss for his disciples.
Ayatollah Khoshvaqt, a prominent theologian of Tehran, had gone To Mecca for the Umra (lesser) Hajj pilgrimage but due to lung infection, kidney and heart failure he passed away in holy Mecca on Wednesday.
Following the glorious victory of the Islamic revolution, he was appointed as the special representative of Imam Khomeini (God’s mercy upon his soul) in the Cultural Revolution’s High Headquarters. The late Ayatollah played a great role in cultural arenas, guiding the youth and training talented clergy.
